As estrelas da televisão mundial já estão reunidas no Peacock Theater, em Los Angeles, para a cerimônia oficial da 78ª edição do Emmy nesta segunda-feira (14.09). Sob o comando de Mariska Hargitay, a premiação mais importante da TV traz uma disputa acirrada entre veteranos consagrados e novatos que chegaram chutando a porta. O alvo a ser batido na categoria de drama é The Pitt. A série lidera a lista da noite com 25 indicações e tenta repetir o prêmio principal do ano passado. Já nas categorias de comédia, o peso está todo em cima da temporada final de Hacks.
Com 24 nomeações, a produção bateu o recorde histórico do gênero e pode consagrar Jean Smart; se levar o prêmio de Melhor Atriz, ela chega ao seu oitavo Emmy e se torna a atriz mais vitoriosa da história do prêmio. Quem também promete incomodar os favoritos são as estreias badaladas da Apple TV+: O Segredo de Widow’s Bay, que soma 19 indicações, e o drama Pluribus, com 18. Já entre as minisséries, o favoritismo absoluto é de Treta, com 16 indicações e Oscar Isaac e Carey Mulligan na disputa direta pelas estatuetas de atuação.
